The goal of this site is to provide the IDL community with leading edge tools and books that will be useful to both scientists and developers. We believe that the development of third-party products using IDL is crucial to the overall advancement of the scientific community. It is really quite logical, the more tools a scientist has to experiment with, the more likely he/she is to discover something new.
